Birchwood Group is a forward-looking company with retail stores, workshops and facilities based across the south coast of Sussex and Hampshire. Reporting to the General Sales Manager, we are looking for an experienced highly motivated individual with a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service, to join our busy sales department at our Destination Motorcycles dealership in Christchurch, Dorset. This is a challenging role where customer care always comes first. You will support and guide customers every step of the way throughout the purchase of their new vehicle.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Identify and encourage potential customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Produce suitable options to the customer and adapt to their buying strategy
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed targets
- Liaise with colleagues and other departments to provide seamless service
- Other duties as required
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Must have previous sales experience in automotive industry
- Motorcycle licence (essential)
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational and time management skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative without constant supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to create relationships at all levels
- A flexible approach
- Excellent IT skills and technological skills
Package:
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 18.00, Saturdays* 08:30-18:00 (1st April – 30th September) Monday – Friday 08:30- 17:00, Saturdays* 08:30-16:30 (1st October – 31st March) *Day off during the week in lieu of Saturday working.
