Destination Motorcycles is currently seeking a motivated After Sales Advisor (3 month fixed-term contract) to join the team in Christchurch, Dorset. This role involves managing customer interactions in the aftersales department, ensuring smooth operations in the workshop, and maximizing sales opportunities for service work, parts, accessories and clothing. It also involves providing temporary cover on the front counter to support the other front of house aftersales advisors. The ideal candidate will be very organised, highly motivated, driven, customer-focused, and able to deliver exceptional service standards.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsibility for ensuring that the workshop environment is efficiently loaded
- Handle warranty claims and ensure timely completion of warranty work, to the satisfaction of customers
- Organising all data capture to ensure that customers are communicated with effectively
- Optimise every opportunity for selling service work and promoting the activity of the Service and Parts department
- Ensure that aftersales customer satisfaction scores reflect the expectations of the business and manufacturer
- Maximise every opportunity for the sale of motorcycle parts & accessories
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- 1-2 years of experience (preferred but not essential)
- Motorcycle licence (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently
- Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative without constant supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to create relationships at all levels
- A flexible approach to working
Working Hours:
(3 month fixed-term contract) Monday - Friday 08:30 - 18.00, Saturdays (1 in 4, paid as overtime) 08:30 – 18:00 (1st April – 30th September) Monday – Friday 08:30- 17:00, Saturdays (1 in 4, paid as overtime) 08:30 – 16:30 (1st October – 31st March)
Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Salary: £30,000 Basic + Bonus
