The opportunity
Birchwell Associates is supporting a growing renewable energy business in the search for a Solar Project Manager.
This role will take responsibility for delivering solar PV projects safely, efficiently and to a high technical standard.
You will coordinate clients, designers, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers from pre-construction through installation, commissioning and handover.
- What you will be doing
- Manage solar projects from planning and mobilisation through installation and handover.
- Coordinate programmes, labour, subcontractors, suppliers and site logistics.
- Track budgets, progress, risks, variations and delivery milestones.
- Maintain strong standards of health and safety, quality and technical compliance.
- Provide clear communication to clients, internal teams and project stakeholders.
- Complete project documentation, commissioning coordination and final handover packs.
- What we are looking for
- Commercial experience managing solar, electrical, construction or renewable-energy projects.
- Strong understanding of project planning, site delivery and subcontractor coordination.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems and associated electrical installation work.
- Experience managing budgets, programmes, risks and client expectations.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across South West England.
