Birchwell Associates are seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer to join a dynamic construction team specializing in roofing and cladding projects. This pivotal role involves managing the procurement of materials, plant, and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency to support seamless project execution. Key Responsibilities: Source and schedule products, materials, and equipment to meet project demands. Negotiate competitive pricing and terms with suppliers. Monitor and report price fluctuations, updating internal systems accordingly. Address failed or late deliveries and oversee returns of non-conforming products. Develop and maintain a robust supply chain network. Process purchase records and maintain accurate documentation. Skills & Competencies: Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills. Excellent planning and organizational abilities to manage competing project demands. Proactive problem-solving skills to mitigate supply challenges.
