Birchwell Associates is working with a growing renewable energy company looking to expand its team with experienced Solar PV Electricians across Manchester and Greater Manchester.
This is a permanent opportunity for an electrician with hands-on Solar PV experience to join a business delivering a mixture of domestic and commercial solar installations .
Youll be responsible for electrical installation, testing, commissioning and fault finding across Solar PV projects, working independently and alongside wider installation teams to deliver work to a high standard.
The Role
As a Solar PV Electrician, your responsibilities will include:
- Installing and commissioning Solar PV systems
- Working across domestic and commercial solar projects
- Carrying out AC and DC electrical installation works
- Installing and commissioning inverters
- Testing, inspection and certification
- Fault finding and remedial works
- Installation of battery storage systems
- Working from electrical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring installations comply with current electrical and safety standards
- Liaising with customers, site teams and project managers where required
