Solar Electrician in Essex

Birchwell Associates is recruiting for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join an established renewable energy business delivering residential and commercial Solar PV and battery-storage projects across London and the South East. This is a senior hands-on position for a fully qualified Electrician with strong Solar PV experience who is comfortable taking responsibility for electrical installations, supporting site teams and maintaining high technical standards. The business has been operating within the renewable energy sector for more than a decade and has delivered thousands of solar installations across the UK and Europe. The Role Working predominantly across residential projects, with a mixture of commercial installations, your responsibilities will include: Completing electrical installations for Solar PV and battery-storage systems Installing and connecting inverters, optimisers, microinverters and associated AC/DC equipment Installing EV charging equipment where required Overseeing and supporting installation teams on site Electrical testing, inspection, fault finding and remedial works Repair and maintenance of existing renewable energy systems Supporting site surveys and developing knowledge of basic system design and cable sizing Carrying out general electrical installation works Working alon...
