Birchwell Associates is recruiting for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join a growing renewable energy business delivering residential and commercial energy efficiency projects across Wales. This is a hands-on field-based role suited to a fully qualified Electrician with strong experience in Solar PV and renewable energy installations. You will work as part of an experienced installation team, delivering high-quality electrical and Solar PV work across a variety of domestic and commercial projects.

The Role

  • Installing residential and commercial Solar PV systems
  • Wiring and connecting solar panels, inverters and battery storage systems
  • Carrying out general domestic electrical works including sockets and lighting
  • DMEV installations
  • ASHP electrical supply runs, including armoured cable
  • Installing cylinder fused spurs
  • Consumer unit works and repairs where required
  • Electrical fault finding and remedial work
  • Ensuring all installations meet current electrical regulations and safety standards
  • Working closely with installers and other electricians on site
  • Supporting junior electricians and apprentices where required
  • Carrying out quality checks and audits on completed installations
  • Identifying remedial works and handling them accordingly
