Birchwell Associates are working in partnership with a reputable and growing construction company to recruit experienced Maintenance and Approved Electricians for long-term, permanent positions in the Guildford area.
This opportunity involves delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a small number of local sites. The work is varied and offers long-term stability, with all jobs managed through a mobile-based system. You will work closely with on-site facilities teams and will be fully supported by an experienced management and operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out electrical maintenance and repair work in accordance with current wiring regulations
- Assist with both minor and larger maintenance tasks
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with health & safety requirements
- Complete risk assessments and follow safe systems of work
- Liaise professionally with clients and on-site facilities teams
- Accurately complete job documentation using digital and paper-based systems
- City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS Gold Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Clear DBS record
- Good IT and mobile device competency
- Inspection & Testing qualification (C&G 2391 or 2395)
- Background in commercial or educational environments
- Strong focus on quality, compliance, and best practice
- Proactive with strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
