They are looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to work across a varied pipeline of domestic and commercial installations, taking responsibility for the electrical side of projects from installation through to testing and commissioning. This is a permanent opportunity with a business continuing to grow its presence in the UK renewables market.
The Position Youll be involved in:
- Electrical installation of Solar PV systems
- Domestic and commercial renewable energy projects
- AC and DC cabling and connections
- Inverter installation and commissioning
- Electrical testing and certification
- Diagnosing system faults and completing remedial works
- Battery storage installations
- Ensuring all work meets current electrical regulations and safety standards
- Working alongside roofing, installation and project teams
- Providing a professional service when working on customer sites
What We Need Wed like to hear from qualified electricians with practical experience installing or maintaining Solar PV systems. You should ideally have:
- Proven Solar PV experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition
- Good testing, inspection and fault-finding skills
- Experience working within residential or commercial environments
- Knowledge of PV inverters and associated system components
- Confidence working independently on site
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with battery storage, EV charging, commercial PV or larger renewable energy projects would also be valuable.
