About the Role: Reporting into the Head of Continuous Improvement & Business Development, you'll be working within a collaborative team responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining software products and services. You will engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure systems are user-focused, technically sound, and meet defined business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain bespoke software applications.
- Interpret business requirements into technical solutions and translate designs into high-quality code.
- Engage in project lifecycle activities including technical specification, documentation, and unit testing.
- Support continuous improvement through the development of scalable and maintainable software systems.
- Provide technical insight and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing applications, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Automate development and deployment workflows using Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including technical specifications and user guides.
- Contribute to the overall quality of solutions through best practices, code reviews, and testing protocols.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry developments.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
