Birchwell Associates are supporting a growing renewable energy business in the South West in the search for an experienced Solar Electrician to join their installation team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing clean energy organisation delivering Solar PV, battery storage and wider renewable energy projects across domestic and commercial environments.
The Role
- Installation and maintenance of Solar PV and battery storage systems
- Electrical testing, inspection and fault finding
- Supporting safe, compliant and high-quality installations
- Working closely with electricians, installers and project teams
- Reading technical drawings and schematics
- Supporting future renewable technologies including EV charging and wider clean energy systems
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician
- Solar PV installation experience
- 18th Edition Qualification
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Battery storage / ESS experience
- EV charger installation experience
- NAPIT or equivalent
- Commercial project exposure
