Our client, a Top 20 Law Firm, is seeking a Claims & Investigations Lawyer to join the firm’s General Counsel team on a permanent basis.

The opportunity is with a highly regarded international law firm with a strong presence across the UK and internationally, recognised for its collaborative culture and high-quality work. The firm is looking to appoint a Claims & Investigations Lawyer to support the General Counsel function, advising Partners and internal stakeholders on a broad range of contentious and risk-related matters. The role will play a key part in managing claims, complaints and investigations, whilst also supporting wider strategic projects including the firm’s Professional Indemnity renewals process. This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Advising Partners and internal stakeholders on claims, complaints and investigations
  • Managing and coordinating responses to professional negligence and regulatory matters
  • Liaising with the firm’s insurers, brokers and external defence counsel
  • Supporting on wider risk and insurance projects, including PI renewals
  • Assisting with the reporting and analysis of claims and complaints-related costs
  • Supporting the General Counsel team on strategic risk and governance matters
  • Helping to identify trends, risks and process improvements across the firm

Requirements
