Experienced Investment Funds Solicitor sought for international, Top 20 law firm for their London office at either Senior Associate or Counsel level.

The Firm

Our client is an international, Top 20 law firm who have offices scattered across Europe, Asia, US and the Middle East. The firm acts for over 30 of the world’s top 50 brands, some of the world’s most exciting start-ups and wealthiest families. They boast a market-leading Private Equity team who are now looking to hire an Investment Funds Senior Associate or Counsel.

The Opportunity

The opportunity is to work closely with the team’s leading Partner who is recognised as an expert in advising both fund managers and institutional investors on their fund formation and investment activities. As a senior member of the Investment Funds sub-team you would be involved in the following:

  • Advising on the structuring, formation, and promotion of various types of investment funds including private equity funds, venture capital funds, infrastructure funds, credit funds, real estate funds, and other alternative investment vehicles.
  • Negotiating and drafting of fund documentation such as limited partnership agreements, subscription agreements, investment management agreements and side letters.
  • Supporting fund managers with initial and ongoing operational legal issues and advising on fund documentation.
  • Advising institutional investors on fund investments and co-investments.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Senior Investment Funds Solicitor with 6 years' PQE.
  • Experience gained in a highly ranked law firm and financial institution.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the legal framework governing investment funds.
