The Firm
Our client is a market leading, Top 30 International law firm that services the needs of individuals and their businesses across the globe. The firm’s clients include founders and entrepreneurs, startups, household name brands, and some of the world’s leading charities. Annually, the firm’s Legal 500 recognised Corporate division will be involved in projects worth in excess of US$5 billion across industries such as hotel and leisure, life sciences, technology, real estate, luxury brands, and financial services.
The Role
The firm are looking to onboard a Corporate Solicitor with c.3-5 years PQE to cover maternity leave. Ideally to start asap but latest May, for a period of 6-12 months. Dependant on candidate profile, the role is likely to encompass corporate M&A, venture capital investment and advisory work. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating a range of documents such as share and asset purchase agreements, shareholders' and investment agreements, articles of association and related transaction documents. The transactions are frequently international and clients include investors, founders, entrepreneurs, and corporates.

Required
- The ability to commence the role in April or May (latest)
- The ability to work in the firm’s central London office 3 days per week minimum
- 3-5 years’ PQE in corporate law from a leading City law firm is essential (those at a higher PQE are still encouraged to apply)
- Exposure to international transactions is highly desirable
- Partnership/LLP law, share incentives and/or capital markets experience is desirable
- Excellent academics is essential (2:1 and above)
