Birchrose Associates is delighted to be representing a well-regarded law firm in Bromley, which is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Paralegal to join its growing team.

The Firm

Our client is a highly regarded law firm with an established reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice and excellent client service. The Commercial Property team is a key part of the firm, offering a supportive and collaborative environment with excellent opportunities for development.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Commercial Property Paralegal to join a busy and well-established team. The successful candidate will support fee earners across a broad range of commercial property transactions, with the opportunity to develop their own caseload under supervision.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting fee earners across a range of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Drafting and assisting with commercial property documentation, including CPSE replies, licences, transfer deeds and completion documents
  • Reviewing title documents, searches and planning information and assisting with due diligence
  • Assisting with Reports on Title and identifying key property issues
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders and other third parties
  • Managing transaction timetables and ensuring key deadlines are met
  • Assisting with post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
  • Providing a high level of client service and maintaining strong professional relationships
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to the wider success of the Commercial Property team

This Commercial Property Paralegal position is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm

Requirements

  • Over a years' experience as a Paralegal within a Commercial Property team
  • Good understanding of commercial property transactions and processes
  • Experience drafting ancillary commercial property documentation
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
