The Firm

My client is a highly regarded international law firm with an exceptional reputation for advising high-net-worth individuals, families, landed estates and businesses on complex residential property matters. The firm's Residential Property team is recognised for handling some of the UK's most prestigious residential property transactions, acting on prime and super-prime London homes, country estates, listed buildings and high-value residential investments.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, the team is seeking a Residential Property Associate to join its London office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer looking to develop their career within one of London's leading residential property practices. Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, the new hire will advise an exceptional client base on a broad range of high-value residential property matters and landed estate work. The team also has significant experience acting for international clients, including overseas investors acquiring UK property, and offers multilingual support for clients requiring advice throughout complex cross-border transactions.

The role will involve:

  • Acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties
  • Secured lending and refinancing
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Rural property and estate work
  • Agricultural and commercial land issues
  • Strategic land use
  • Ongoing management of residential assets

Required

  • UK qualified solicitor with NQ - 3 years' PQE
  • For NQs, must have completed one seat in Residential Property in a leading practice
  • Strong experience in residential property transactions
  • Experience acting on high-value freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
  • Exposure to secured lending and refinancing matters
