Birchrose Associates is working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm, in the search for a Fully Remote Locum Family Solicitor to join their team in East Anglia on an immediate basis.
The Firm
Our client is a respected regional law firm with a strong reputation across the area. Their Family department advises clients on a broad range of children matters and is supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
The Opportunity
The successful Family Locum will provide support during a 3 Month period. Duties will include:
- Managing a caseload of Private Children matters
- Handling Domestic Abuse cases
- Managing Legal Aid
- Liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties
- Progressing matters efficiently while maintaining excellent levels of client care
- Working independently while collaborating closely with the wider Family team
- Assisting the department in ensuring continuity of service
The firm instructs Counsel to undertake advocacy, therefore there is no requirement for the successful locum to conduct advocacy work. This role is based in East Anglia and can be undertaken on a fully remote basis. Hybrid working is also available if preferred.
