One of the UK's leading manufacturers seeks to appoint a talented and experienced Supply Chain Specialist, Analyst, Supply Chain Administrator, Supply Chain Planner or a similar skilled supply chain professional to take on this extremely important role within a busy and demanding supply chain.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Possibly higher basic for the right candidate)
Contract: Fixed Term of 12 months+ with likelihood of extension (maybe permanent).
Location: Easily commutable areas to this job include Stone, Stoke on Trent, Stafford, Nantwich, Congleton, Cheadle and other areas in Staffordshire / Cheshire / Shropshire.
The Role: Joining the supply chain division at this award-winning company who supply construction, industrial and engineering products via retail, wholesaler and merchant routes to market, as the supply chain specialist, you will play a vital role within the business. This position is initially to cover a fixed term period of 12 months; however, an extension is potentially on offer for the right person. Using state of the art SAP systems and processes designed to make supply meet demand across a nationwide network, you will have a multifunctional role ensuring that supply chain professionals are supported and that processes within this busy division meet multiple retail and distributor customer requirements.
Candidate Requirements: We are looking for a methodical and driven supply chain specialist who not only enjoys the analytical and forward-thinking aspects of being a supply chain professional, but importantly, they must be a "right first time" and extremely accurate leader of all supporting documentation, reporting and process systems. We also ideally require this person to have an awareness and appreciation of the supply chain supporting the retail, wholesale, merchant or similar retail guided marketplace; however, all supply chain backgrounds will be seriously considered. Construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, M & E or similar industry experience would be advantageous but essentially you will have held a similar post to that described above.
This role is based in Staffordshire, so we are ideally looking for candidates living within 45 minutes of the Stoke / Stone area.
