Overview

Location: West Midlands - easily commutable from Telford, Stafford, Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Wolverhampton, Market Drayton, Birmingham, Kidderminster and Penkridge - Shropshire / Staffordshire.
The Role
Due to continuing company expansion in the UK, we are now looking to recruit multiskilled, electrically biased maintenance engineers to work across a large busy manufacturing site in Shropshire. Using your experience as a maintenance engineer, you will perform planned preventative, reactive and proactive maintenance duties on a wide variety of manufacturing, production, automated and PLC driven site equipment; and be rewarded with an industry leading package. This role is site based locally in the Shropshire / Staffordshire region and does not require field service or travel, so is ideal for an engineer looking for a great work/life balance alongside excellent earnings. Working a very appealing and flexible shift pattern (including days only options), this exciting position offers all the benefits that come with working for an award winning and world-renowned manufacturing organisation which has manufacturing sites across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventative, reactive and proactive maintenance duties on a wide variety of manufacturing, production, automated and PLC driven site equipment.
- Contribute to a safe, well-maintained site by identifying and addressing potential issues before they cause downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance.
Candidate Requirements
- Experienced electrically biased maintenance engineers, multiskilled engineers, site engineers, service engineers or similar electrically qualified engineers.
- Background in a role similar to that described above.
- Candidates with experience in PLCs, automation or mechatronic equipment will be of great interest; please make such experience clear in your CV.
- Living locally in Shropshire / Staffordshire / West Midlands with supporting qualifications; excellent faultfinding, repair and preventative maintenance mindset.
