Location: Based in Northamptonshire; Northampton, Kettering, Milton Keynes, Market Harborough, Corby, Bedford, Thrapston, Peterborough and other local areas. Frequent travel throughout Europe and further afield internationally. The Role: One of the worlds leading engineering companies that supply engineering systems to food/beverage supply, agricultural and industrial markets are looking for an electrically biased field service engineer to join their EMEA Field Engineering Team. You will travel across the UK, Europe and further afield frequently so experience and interest in international travel as an engineer is required. It is expected that you will spend 50% of you time travelling the UK with the rest of the time spent abroad in Europe and further afield. When not out in the field, you will be based from the Northamptonshire regional manufacturing site. Your engineering duties will be varied and diverse however you will play a vital role with regards to service, maintenance, fault-finding, repair and on new system installations. Candidate Requirements: Essentially, you will be an engineer with experience working internationally and travelling across the UK and/or Europe / EMEA. You will enjoy the travelling aspect of being a field service engineer and ideally have worked at industrial, agricultural, commercial or engineering process sites before. Ideally you will be electrically biased but we are happy to consider all engineering backgrounds if you have worked internationally. Engineers from the forces would be of particular interest. We also require candidates to live within Northamptonshire or within 45 minutes drive of Northampton.
