Role Overview

We are seeking a caring and reliable

Care Assistant to join our team in York. This role is vital to our success, as you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients, helping them live comfortably and with dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, respecting their privacy and preferences.
  • Support clients with mobility and transferring, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision.
  • Prepare and serve meals and assist with feeding where necessary.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the healthcare team to report any concerns or changes in client wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care plans and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills
