We're delighted to be partnering with a Kent based Fintech lender, who are looking to expand their Risk department with the addition of an Operational Risk Officer. As an Operational Risk Officer, you will be responsible for the ongoing development of the risk management framework, with a particular focus on operational risk management and the reporting of key risk indicators.
- Assisting the Chief Compliance Officer in the implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework, along with supporting standards and risk tools such as RCSA.
- Supporting operational risk activities with the first line of defence to ensure the risk management framework is integrated.
- Providing guidance to the 1LOD around processes and services and identifying/assessing and monitoring risks.
- Maintaining a full understanding of the company's compliance requirements and act in accordance with these.
- Supporting with operational risk reporting.
At least 3 years' operational risk experience in an FCA regulated environment or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a 1LOD operations role. Excellent knowledge of operational risk best practice. Ability to write policies and procedures. This is a hybrid role; due to the client's remote location, the ability to drive would be desirable.
