Role Description

The PI Account Executive is a full‑time role responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance clients. Based in the City of Bristol in a hybrid capacity, the role combines office‑based collaboration with the flexibility of some work from home. Day‑to‑day tasks include advising clients on PI cover, preparing quotations, negotiating terms with insurers, and handling renewals and mid‑term adjustments. The PI Account Executive will respond to client queries, manage claims‑related support, and maintain accurate documentation and records. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities, supporting business development initiatives, and ensuring all activities comply with regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

• Strong client relationship and account management skills, with the ability to provide clear, confident advice on Professional Indemnity insurance.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products, particularly PI, and an understanding of current market trends and underwriting practices.
• Solid administrative and organisational skills, including accurate documentation, policy processing, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, for dealing with clients, insurers, and internal teams.
• Comfort with hybrid working, self‑motivation, and the ability to manage workload independently while collaborating with colleagues.
• Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., progress toward or completion of CII) are highly beneficial.
• Previous experience in an insurance broking environment, preferably with PI or professional lines, is an advantage.
• Proficiency in standard office and insurance‑related software systems.
