Weare passionate about supporting our young people to succeed both academicallyand personally and are looking to appoint a permanent Learning SupportAssistant with additional responsibility for providing emotional literacy support (ELSA-style interventions) to pupils on a 1:1 and small groupbasis. Your expertise will supportpupils with social, emotional and additional learning needs, helping them tobuild resilience, confidence and the key skills they need to succeed.
ELSA training or experience delivering Emotional Literacy Support is essential or a strong advantage.
The successfulcandidate will:
- ideally be able to share experience ofprevious good classroom practice including providing 1:1 and small group EmotionalLiteracy Support
- be able to support the class teacher/yeargroup across the whole curriculum
- have experience of working with their owngroups
- be able to show evidence of relevanttraining.
- display a range of attributes includingpersonal organisation, initiative, enthusiasm and a caring nature
- be flexible, adaptable, and be able toprovide support and challenge
