This is an exciting opportunity for a current or aspiring Education Welfare Officer to join our Attendance Team, and wider Pastoral Support Team, to support our pupils and families in overcoming any barriers to strong attendance. In line with our Trust and Academy vision and values, the role of Education Welfare Officer is a crucial one as we continue to shift our culture; by ensuring all pupils are individually known to foster a sense of belonging and supported to ensure they thrive at BHA; upholding our Academy motto of Aspire to Be More. We have high standards and expectations, of and for our pupils, and the Education Welfare Officer will drive these standards; being a champion for every pupil, and equally challenging and supporting them to lead a choice filled life. Working as a member of our wider Pastoral Team, the successful candidate will be a passionate, proactive and dynamic Education Welfare Officer with a 'get up & go' attitude who, specifically:

  • Has the ability to motivate, challenge and be challenged
