Job Summary: We are seeking a P3M professional with strong procurement transformation experience to join our growing team. This role will focus on leading and delivering procurement workstreams in complex client environments, combining strong project management capability with domain expertise in procurement and commercial transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of procurement workstreams within transformation programmes
- Manage day‑to‑day engagement with vendors and third parties, ensuring SOW deliverables, SLAs, and handoffs are met, while proactively challenging timelines and removing blockers
- Support supplier onboarding, supplier relationship management, and contract lifecycle activities
- Run tender events and RFPs, evaluate supplier responses, lead commercial negotiations, and support contracting activities
- Align business SMEs, product owners, technical SMEs, and external partners to ensure coordinated delivery
- Track workstream costs, change requests, data, and spend analytics, and support forecasting and approvals
- Apply knowledge of source‑to‑contract and procure‑to‑pay processes to shape project deliverables and outcomes
- Engage procurement leadership (e.g., CPO, category leads, legal, and finance stakeholders) to ensure alignment and decision‑making
- Build and manage project plans, governance artefacts, RAID logs, and reporting
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams across procurement, finance, operations, and IT
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and benefits realisation
- Support and facilitate P3M workshops with client stakeholders
- Provide clear and structured updates to senior stakeholders and steering committees
- Manage project‑level change without disrupting business operations
- Contribute to client proposals, thought leadership, procurement transformation propositions, and wider practice development activities, with increasing ownership depending on experience
- Coach and support junior consultants in delivery roles
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of programme and project management methodologies
- Aware of procurement operating models and process design (S2C / P2P)
- Experience engaging procurement leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders such as legal, finance, and category teams
- End‑to‑end procurement process expertise
- Sourcing and commercial negotiation capability
- Understanding of responsible procurement practices, including sustainability, supplier risk, and regulatory considerations
- Experience in regulated procurement is advantageous but not mandatory
- Proven experience delivering procurement transformation initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong planning, organisational, and delivery management capabilities
- Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Exposure to or familiarity with leading S2P platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Ivalua) is advantageous
- Proficiency in project management tools
- Adaptability and willingness to work across different client environments
- PM / P3M certifications are advantageous but not mandatory
- Previous consulting experience is advantageous
