Job Summary:

We are looking for an innovative and experienced Solution Architect to join our dynamic team at BIP UK. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation initiatives for our clients, helping them to modernize their technology landscapes and achieve their strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital technologies and a passion for leveraging them to create impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect cutting-edge digital solutions that align with clients’ business objectives and digital transformation strategies.
• Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring the implementation of best practices and high-quality standards in digital projects.
• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and translate them into effective digital solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend digital technologies, tools, and frameworks that enhance clients’ capabilities and future-proof their operations.
• Ensure the quality, performance, and security of digital solutions through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on digital transformation in a management consultancy or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of digital technologies, including cloud computing, AI/ML, IoT, and data analytics.
• Experience of implementing business needs by producing, documenting, and maintaining specific solutions with a technical element, and shaping that solution to meet organisational vision, priorities and constraints.
• Experience of production of solution roadmaps, showing the possible direction of improvement over 2-5 years, and defining transition states.
• Knowledge of working with Technical Design Authorities.
• Experience working with cyber assurance.
• Worked in all stages of a project lifecycle from discovery and requirements elicitation, alpha/proof of concepts and prototypes, beta/user testing, continuous improvement, and support.
• Able to work with technical architects and business architects, bridge the gap and interact with senior stakeholders to explain the rationale for recommendations.
• Able to provide guidance to project teams.
• Has a broad understanding of modern technical solutions including the common hyperscalers, software as a service and typical solutions.
• Experience of working with multiple Suppliers to assure and govern the implementation of solutions in line with Programme/Project designs.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, presentational and influencing skills including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into a form that is easily understood by a non-technical audience.
