This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, automating everything possible, and working across both cloud and on-prem environments. You’ll sit at the heart of our technology operations — improving reliability, streamlining deployments, and strengthening our network and security posture while collaborating closely with development teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and optimising Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows server environments
- Supporting virtualised and cloud platforms including VMware, Proxmox and AWS
- Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Automating configuration and deployments using tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Building and operating containerised platforms with Docker and Kubernetes
- Designing, maintaining and troubleshooting LAN, WAN and WLAN networks
- Managing firewalls, VPNs, routing, VLANs and network security controls
- Monitoring performance, availability and security across systems and networks
- Supporting incident response, root cause analysis and disaster recovery
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years’ experience across DevOps, systems administration and networking
- Strong Linux experience with solid Windows knowledge
- Hands-on experience with cloud and virtualisation platforms (VMware, AWS)
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting (Bash, PowerShell or Python)
- A proactive mindset with a passion for automation, reliability and security
Nice to have:
- Kubernetes and container orchestration experience
- Cloud or DevOps certifications (AWS, VMware, Azure, SRE)
- Networking certifications (CCNA / CCNP)
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Datadog
You’ll have the opportunity to work across the full technology stack, influence architecture decisions, and make a real impact on how our systems are built and operated. If you enjoy autonomy, technical variety, and building reliable, secure platforms — we’d love to hear from you.
