Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Full Stack Technologist to support a Private Equity client in delivering a strategic, target-state investment platform, with a core focus on credit trading implementation.

This is a hands-on engineering role, combining deep technical delivery across data, cloud, and application layers, alongside the ability to operate within a fast-paced, front-office aligned environment.

The successful candidate will bring experience across modern data stacks (Snowflake, dbt, Sigma, Power BI) and full-stack engineering (.NET, cloud-native architectures), with exposure to CI/CD, platform modernisation, and AI-assisted development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the end-to-end build of a credit trading / investment platform, aligned to the client’s target architecture
  • Deliver full-stack engineering solutions, spanning backend services, data pipelines, and front-end reporting layers
  • Implement and optimise data models and transformations using Snowflake and dbt
  • Develop analytics and reporting layers using Sigma and Power BI for front-office users
  • Contribute to cloud-native architecture design and deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Drive .NET modernisation efforts, including refactoring legacy components into scalable microservices
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high-quality, automated delivery
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality
  • Collaborate closely with traders, portfolio managers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, performant, and aligned to best practice engineering standards

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer / Technologist within financial services or private equity environments
  • Strong credit trading or front-office platform implementation experience (essential)
  • Hands-on expertise with:
    • Snowflake (data warehousing)
    • dbt (data transformation)
    • Sigma and/or Power BI (analytics / BI layer)
  • Strong backend development experience, ideally in .NET / C#
  • Experience building cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience working with modern data architectures and pipelines
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and API-driven design
  • Exposure to AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, etc.)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work directly with front-office users
