This is a full-time position located in Hinckley for an Experienced Ladieswear Print Designer with specific experience in Nightwear. In this role, you will design innovative nightwear collections inspired by contemporary fashion trends. It is essential that candidates have at least 2 years commercial design experience in the fashion industry and can provide a portfolio of their relevant work on ladies apparel including nightwear.
- Creating high quality artwork ready for print
- Researching and identifying key trends
- Working closely with design colleagues to create mood and trend boards
- Raising sample requests ready for printing
- Assisting in the creation of external presentations for clients
- Liaising with the sales team, sample hands and artwork technicians
Skills and qualifications:
- Experience designing graphics for apparel (specific experience of nightwear is essential), especially in designing for retail/mass production, is advantageous
- Relevant degree in Fashion or Design
- Strong design-related skills, including sketching, CAD software, and creating mood boards
- Enthusiastic, creative and passionate about trend led design
- Proven experience in designing licensed or themed apparel
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work closely within a team and independently
