Biowaived is a contract research organisation focused on delivering tailored biopharmaceutics and dissolution work packages to support drug product development and help our clients to develop optimal formulations.
Your role will focus on the generation of quality analytical data to support the evaluation of drug product performance using compendial and novel in-vitro dissolution tools. The role requires the candidate to be able to work individually and as part of a team to achieve the desired project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory testing, including but not limited to:
- Compendial dissolution testing (USP I, USP II, USP III, USP IV)
- Solubility and physicochemical property assessments (logP, pKa, CMC)
- Analytical testing (e.g. HPLC/UPLC)
Knowledge and Experience
- A degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent
- Experience in pharmaceutical development – beneficial but not required
- Experience working in an analytical laboratory – beneficial but not required
The Offer
- Role type: Full time role on site (laboratory-based)
- Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension scheme, annual bonus (based upon business and personal performance)
