About us: MedSprint is now a BioTouch Company. We are a medical courier service offering dedicated and on-demand fleet solutions, serving the healthcare industry through customized medical transportation and logistics. We understand the importance of timely and accurate medical specimen delivery in diagnosis and treatment.

Position Overview: As a Medical Courier Driver, you will be responsible for transporting medical specimens from various locations to our laboratory facilities, ensuring timely and safe delivery, which impacts patient care.

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Mileage Reimbursement

Shifts Needed: Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM (30 hours), and Saturday 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM (5 hours)

Responsibilities:

  • Drive personal vehicle to transport medical items including specimens, supplies, and confidential documents.
  • Scan all locations and report missing barcodes to Assistant GM.
  • Maintain a 98% or higher location scanning accuracy on routes.
  • Notify Assistant GM if route times are unattainable or if customer requests differ.
  • Assist with training new hires as needed.
  • Load and unload medical items, ensuring proper maintenance and security.
  • Deliver items to correct destinations timely and according to routing specifications.
  • Interact courteously with customers and co-workers.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain signatures when applicable.
  • Communicate delays or status changes to dispatch and management.
  • Assist Assistant GMs as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Drive personal vehicle adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Must be HIPAA and OSHA compliant (training provided).
  • Knowledge of locating customer locations via GPS or maps.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
