We are committed to building, acquiring and managing highâquality energy and resource recovery assets across the UK and Europe. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and commercially minded professional to join our Innovation & Growth (I&G) team to help shape and deliver BioticNRG's next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Growth and BioticNRG's executive management team to drive platform expansion across the UK and Europe.
- Assist in the identification, evaluation and execution of new business opportunities and valueâcreation strategies, including collaboration with equity sponsor teams.
- Contribute to the buildâout of the I&G team, helping to establish strong growth and investment processes.
- Lead elements of transaction due diligence, coâordinate internal technical experts and external advisers, and support bid strategy development and commercial negotiations.
- Adopt an owner's mindset in the management of portfolio companies to drive innovation and enhance asset value.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to internal committees, investment boards, investor partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Take ownership of corporate financial models, working closely with the Finance team to support budgeting, forecasting and investment analysis.
- Provide execution support across a range of corporate initiatives and operational projects.
- Support research and development of corporate strategies, including commercial offtake structures, feedstock sourcing and capital structure optimisation.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3â6 years' relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure funds, corporate finance, or corporate M&A/business development roles.
- Experience in real assets, renewable energy, or energy transition sectors highly regarded.
- Exposure to greenfield/development projects preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Mathematics or Science.
- Postgraduate qualifications (CFA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW) advantageous but not essential.
- Strong quantitative and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent analytical and problemâsolving capabilities.
- Demonstrated commercial, financial and strategic acumen.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a pragmatic, resultsâoriented mindset.
- Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proven project management experience across multiâdisciplinary teams.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
