Through a growing portfolio of anaerobic digestion plants and resource recovery facilities, we are helping decarbonise transport, agriculture and energy whilst building a scalable platform for long-term growth. We are an entrepreneurial organisation with deep engineering expertise operating in a dynamic sector at the heart of the energy transition. Our success is built on the quality of our people, our collaborative culture and a willingness to back talented individuals with responsibility early in their careers.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our growing Commercial divisions. This is a broad, hands‑on role that will sit across both our Innovation & Growth (I&G) and Trading & Portfolio Management (TPM) teams. Our I&G team is responsible for both M&A and the identification, analysis and implementation of innovative value‑add projects, whilst TPM is responsible for asset‑backed hedging activities aimed at optimising gross margin and managing risk across our energy portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to energy markets, commercial strategy, project development, financial analysis and portfolio optimisation within a single role. Initially, the successful candidate will support both teams, by developing business cases for innovative asset enhancement opportunities, monitoring and analysing market developments and supporting hedging activities. As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunity to specialise in either the trading and portfolio optimisation path, or a projects- and M&A-focused pathway. This role would best suit an intellectually curious individual who enjoys solving problems, working with data and learning how commercial decisions are made in a growing bioenergy business.
