Job Description
Research associate job opportunities at Recursion involve designing, planning, and executing experiments within the Primary Pharmacology department. The position focuses on assay development, data quality control, and supporting drug discovery programs using advanced technologies and automation.
Qualifications
- BSc/MSc/Ph.D. in Oncology, Biology, Biochemistry or related discipline
- Expertise in in vitro assay development and optimisation
- Hands-on experience with cell and enzymatic plate-based assays
- Knowledge of assay technologies such as BRET, FRET, luminescent assays, flow cytometry, and high-content imaging
- Experience in small molecule high-throughput screening and dose-response analysis
- Proficiency in sterile techniques and cell culture
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Key Responsibilities
- Develop cell-based and biochemical assays to help drive development of small molecule therapeutics
- Implement latest scientific developments and evaluate new technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to support drug discovery programs
- Produce decision-making data in a timely manner
