Product Manager (Life Sciences)

Location: North East England (with flexible working)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

We are partnering with a rapidly growing biotechnology business to recruit a Business Unit Product Manager for their expanding commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping global product and marketing strategy within a company at the forefront of innovation in diagnostics and life sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive marketing campaigns and digital initiatives across the UK and international markets.
  • Lead the commercial launch of new RUO and IVD-labelled products.
  • Support cross functional teams in R&D, regulatory, sales and quality.
  • Represent the business at key industry events and conferences.
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify new market opportunities。
  • Enhance customer engagement through CRM and digital channels.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field (MSc/PhD an advantage).
  • Proven experience in marketing or selling clinical diagnostics or life sciences products.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CE IVD-R, FDA, UKCA).
  • Experience in launching RUO and/or IVD products.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
