A leading healthcare communications agency is seeking a freelance Technical Event Project Manager to support the design, planning, and delivery of custom exhibition booths for global pharmaceutical clients. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in booth builds, who enjoys working across creative, logistical, and stakeholder-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end technical delivery of exhibition booths for European congresses
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to scope, plan, and execute projects
- Lead briefings with designers, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate build logistics
- Travel onsite to oversee builds and ensure smooth delivery
- Ensure all technical elements are delivered to high standards, including AV, rigging, Wi-Fi, electrics, and H&S compliance
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in technical event or exhibition project management, preferably within life sciences
- Strong understanding of booth construction, venue limitations, and technical specifications
