BioTalent are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic and established Pharmaceutical business based in the North West of England in their search for a Director of Quality. You will be working across a large manufacturing site overseeing a team across QA, QC, Compliance and QP’s. This business is seeking a strong people leader who is able to demonstrate a pragmatic approach to their team, challenges and driving the business forward. Extensive leadership within QA is required for this role to enable you to further develop the site and team. Due to the level and nature of the position, this individual is required to be on site full time. Eligibility for QP status is not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership of the quality team at demonstrating maturity, integrity, experience and knowledge of subject.
- Ensure that the quality standards and systems are implemented and maintained in compliance with UK, EU and FDA cGMP.
- Problem shoot and be able to think laterally and contribute technically to manufacturing and testing issues as they arise.
- Develop, implement and maintain a quality management strategy, including resource, systems, timescales, financials, to support, contribute to, and integrate within, the organisation's annual business plan and long-term strategy.
- Plan and manage departmental activities and resource in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales and standards.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of GMP, MHRA and FDA.
- Degree in Chemistry or equivalent, or significant understanding/experience in Quality Control laboratories.
