BioTalent is collaborating with a well regarded Bio-Pharmaceutical company. We are in need of a Medical Safety Lead with global experience (in Oncology) to drive safety strategy and pharmacovigilance excellence for clinical and marketed products on a contract mission from August until December 2026.

  • Full remote working (within UK) is possible
  • Full time (90-100%)
  • Possibility to go permanent

You will need to hit the ground running to:

  • Lead global benefit–risk strategy, signal detection, and risk management activities
  • Chair cross-functional Benefit Risk Team and represent at governance forums
  • Provide strategic clinical safety & PV leadership across lifecycle and post-marketing
  • Support regulatory submissions, inspections, and health authority interactions
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders and external partners to ensure compliance and patient safety

Key Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MD preferred; PharmD/PhD with strong experience considered)
  • ~8+ years in clinical safety, Pharmacovigilance (incl. 5+ years in benefit–risk evaluation)
  • Alignment to oncology
  • Strong experience in global safety strategy, signal management, and regulatory defence
  • Deep knowledge of GVP, GCP, and international PV regulations
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional, global matrix environments
