As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated Cancer Cell Biologist at scientist level to join their dynamic and collaborative team.

Please note: applicants must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship, hold a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology or related field and experience in industry to be eligible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cell culture experiments, with a focus on cancer cell lines.
  • Perform biochemical assays, including Western Blot (WB), DNA extraction, and PCR.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive research progress.
  • Participate in meetings with senior leadership, including the Principal Scientist, CSO, and VP of Drug Discovery.
Requirements:
  • Education: PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Post-doc (ideal), 2+ years post PhD industry experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Cancer cell line culture. Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture techniques and biochemical assays.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience in a drug discovery setting within pharma, CRO, or biotech. Experience in cancer biology is preferred but not essential.
