As a Senior Lab Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, organisation, and compliance of the laboratory. Working within a dynamic start-up environment, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple functions, contributing to routine lab activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lab Manager with experience working in a CRO, Pharma or Biotech.
Brief overview of the position:- Oversee the efficient operation of the laboratory, ensuring the organisation of both lab and tissue culture areas.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the laboratory and office environments.
- Manage laboratory inventory by overseeing ordering, stock maintenance, and procurement in compliance with company policies.
- Act as the primary liaison for facility management and equipment servicing providers.
- Supervise cell and sample banking, ensuring all biological materials are properly stored, tracked, and maintained with full traceability.
- Ensure continuous compliance with Health and Safety regulations within the laboratory.
- A BSc or MSc in the Life Sciences with previous experience in lab management position within the pharma/biotech or a CRO environment.
- Experience with troubleshooting instrumentation, stock management and H&S.
- Experience with basic cell culture, histology techniques is essential.
