We are currently partnering on a critical senior leadership hire for an SVP, Medical, a role designed for a commercially minded, strategic leader ready to step into a future-facing position within a high-performing Medical Client Services team. This is not a traditional senior medical role. It sits above VP level and is positioned as a succession hire, acting as a right hand to the EVP and playing a key role in shaping the direction, growth, and evolution of the medical function.
You will operate at the intersection of scientific leadership and business strategy, with a clear mandate to influence growth, elevate client partnerships, and help define how emerging capabilities such as AI will shape the future of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a senior partner to the EVP, contributing to overall business strategy and operational leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing medical teams
- Drive commercial growth across existing accounts and support new business development
- Play a central role in pitches, strategic planning, and client engagement
- Shape and evolve the medical offering within promotional medical communications
- Contribute to forward-looking initiatives, including the integration of AI into medical strategy and delivery
- Proven senior leadership experience within medical communications, ideally at VP level or above
- Strong understanding of the business of the business with the ability to contribute commercially and strategically
- Demonstrated success in growing accounts and supporting new business wins

- Experience within promotional medical communications is essential
- Base salary: £155,000–£175,000 + bonus (flexibility for exceptional candidates)
