We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Business Development Manager to join our London-based team. This role offers the chance to play a key part in scaling a high-growth start-up from an early stage. Initially, you will take ownership of new business development, but as the company grows, you will have the opportunity to build and lead your own team and become a core member of the senior leadership group. This role is hybrid at their office in London Bridge.

Responsibilities
- Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to deal close
- Identify and engage new business opportunities across fragrance and beauty brands and retailers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Deliver compelling in-person and virtual presentations of innovative technology solutions
- Manage follow-ups, negotiations, and onboarding to secure long-term partnerships
- Collaborate closely with customer success and operations teams to ensure successful client outcomes
- Act as a strategic partner to clients, supporting ongoing account growth and retention
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and relationship data using CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot or similar)
- Contribute to wider business initiatives, helping shape strategy, processes, and company culture
What You’ll Bring
- Commercial experience within the fragrance and/or beauty industry, either brand-side or retail
- An existing network within fragrance or beauty is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of fragrance and beauty retail environments and their operational challenges
- Confidence presenting innovative technology to senior stakeholders
- A proactive, self-starting approach with a passion for building from the ground up
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution
- Experience using CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot
