I am looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Application Specialist in the medical field to join an incredible company who we have just partnered with.

This role focuses on supporting the implementation, training, and optimisation of medical technologies and systems, ensuring they meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients alike.

Your role as an application specialist will be the bridge between product teams and end-users, ensuring smooth adoption and use of medical devices, software, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote training to medical staff on the use and maintenance of medical devices and applications.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure proper installation, configuration, and calibration of medical equipment.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and educational materials for clients and stakeholders.
  • Gather feedback from end-users to identify areas for improvement in products or services.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes in the medical field.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, training sessions, and technical issues.

Do you have the following?

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, biomedical engineering, healthcare management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an application support, training, or technical role within the medical field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical devices, systems, or software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with healthcare software systems.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site client support and training.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with medical imaging systems, diagnostic devices, or laboratory equipment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, standards, and compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO, MDR).
  • Knowledge of IT systems and networking in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
