Facilities Technician in Caerphilly

Overview We are looking for a skilled Facilities Technician to support our Facilities and Engineering team at our Ystrad Mynach site. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our site and supporting lean and continuous improvement initiatives across the company. This is a hands-on role in a small facilities team, so the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks is essential. What you’ll do Perform general building and site maintenance work. Support engineering activities, including services and LEV installations. Assist and coordinate with contractors to ensure successful project completion. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity. Compile and maintain relevant documentation: risk assessments, work instructions, drawings, sketches, calculations, and records. Carry out repair and modification work to site facilities and equipment, including electrical wiring and service installations. Complete development and maintenance tasks and update the Pirana management system. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support manufacturing operations.
