B’IOTA Laboratories UK is the UK branch of globally established B’IOTA Laboratories, specialising in health, wellness, and FMCG products. Our UK operations focus on building and growing premium health brands, including Nutraxin, within the local market.

About the Role

B’IOTA Laboratories UK is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations and compliance of the business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable independently managing bookkeeping, payroll, VAT submissions, HMRC obligations, and general company compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial record management
  • Supplier invoice processing and payment tracking
  • Customer invoicing and accounts receivable monitoring
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Managing PAYE payroll and monthly payslips
  • Handling HMRC submissions, tax payments, and compliance
  • Managing pension contributions and payroll obligations
  • Preparing monthly financial reports and cash flow summaries
  • Maintaining Companies House filings and statutory records
  • Supporting general business compliance and administrative filings

Requirements

  • Experience using Xero
  • Minimum 3 years UK accounting experience
  • Qualified accountant (AAT / ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent UK-recognised accounting qualification)
  • Good understanding of VAT, PAYE, HMRC processes, and Companies House filings
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
