The predicted salary is between 12000 - 18000 £ per year.

The TMC finance team comprises five staff including an accountant in Portugal. This team is responsible for managing all financial planning, processing, compliance & reporting for the company as well as reporting / providing guidance to the company’s management team. All Finance team members are based on-site at the head office in Chorleywood WD3.

You will display excellent attention to detail and a professional manner along with the capacity to meet deadlines and maintain records to a high standard. The ability to manage time and make routine decisions will be critical. The preferred candidate will be keen to increase their experience within the Finance function and have the opportunity to carve out their role and develop their own skills.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately input and manage data across different platforms and spreadsheets
  • Analyse data related to livestock, and special projects that support continuous improvement
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly fish stock reports
  • Provide support for internal ad‑hoc tasks and small‑scale projects
  • Deliver administrative support to the HR function
  • Supporting the team with administrative tasks and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide holiday support
Required skills and approach
  • Solid, demonstrable Microsoft Excel skills — including the use of formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX/MATCH), pivot tables, and data formatting.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Experience with Power BI, Sage Business cloud X3 is desirable but not essential
  • Interest in aquatic life or experience in a similar environment is advantageous

This is a part‑time position, site‑based position in Chorleywood – working hours can be flexible to suit the right candidate.
