Overview
We are a fast paced Quality Control department analyzing a wide variety of products, from simple raw materials to complex final compounds.
Our team performs an extensive range of analytical and wet chemistry techniques, with a particular focus on HPLC and method development.
Because of the diversity of molecules we work with, our analysts gain experience using a broad selection of columns, systems, and chromatographic approaches.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on laboratory work, problem solving, and developing technical skills in a dynamic QC environment.
- Your area of responsibility
- Lead and support assigned projects by conducting analyses, organizing testing activities, coordinating with other departments, communicating progress, and preparing reports.
- Perform routine analytical testing following written instructions and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform method development and validation work.
- Assist with troubleshooting by helping investigate unexpected results or basic instrument issues.
- Help maintain laboratory instruments through basic checks, cleaning, calibration, and qualification tasks.
- Complete laboratory documentation accurately and in line with SOPs and quality procedures.
- Support correct storage, organization, and maintenance of analytical data and reports.
- Work according to ISO standards to maintain a safe, compliant, and wellorganised laboratory environment.
- Contribute to the upkeep of the laboratory space through routine cleaning, waste handling, and general housekeeping activities.
Your Profile
- A university degree in chemistry related subject.
- Proven industrial experience in analytical chemistry, gained within a professional laboratory environment, is required
- Preference for postgraduate studies such as Master's or Ph D in organic or analytical chemistry.
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience in the analysis of small molecules, with a focus on HPLC and method development
- Preferably good knowledge in NMR, GC, IC and titration methods.
- Ability to troubleshoot analytical methods, instruments, and unexpected test results effectively.
- Familiarity with common analytical software considered an advantage.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to provide precise records and communicate effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a proactive, reliable, and flexible approach.
- A meticulous, quality conscious work ethic with strong attention to detail.
