We are looking for qualified Registered Nurses and Phlebotomists to support our growing network of blood collection services across the UK. You’ll play a key role in delivering a smooth, professional, and reassuring experience for patients undergoing health testing. Appointments may take place in patients’ homes, partner clinics, or corporate wellness environments. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals who are confident in venepuncture, patient communication, and delivering high-quality care in a modern healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform venous blood collection safely and professionally
- Conduct home visits and clinic-based appointments
- Prepare and label samples accurately for laboratory processing
- Ensure a high standard of patient care and professionalism
- Explain the sample collection process clearly to patients
- Maintain clinical hygiene and infection control standards
- Escalate any clinical concerns appropriately
- Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping
- Represent Biosensitive professionally during all patient interactions
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (NMC registered) and/or qualified Phlebotomist
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Professional, calm, and empathetic manner
- Ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence (for mobile roles)
- Strong attention to detail and sample handling procedures
- Experience in private healthcare or diagnostics
- Experience with at-home patient visits
- Experience in wellness, preventative health, or health screening
