About Us

Established in 2005, Bioscript Group is formed from multiple, specialist businesses to support our global pharmaceutical clients; we draw on our multidisciplinary expertise to help navigate critical decisions at key points in the product lifecycle.

Our scientific and strategic expertise help our clients make better decisions.

We provide medical communication services, market access consulting and regulatory writing support with deep domain expertise to effectively navigate complex disease areas.

The Opportunity

The Bioscript Group is actively expanding our strategic and creative services across the communications spectrum.

We work in strategic partnership with some of world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, as well as innovative biotechs to:

  • build the strongest scientific evidence bases
  • translate into clinically meaningful omnichannel communications programmes
  • develop creative educational pre-launch campaigns and
  • activate creative, commercial campaigns that ensure brand success

Building on our heritage in scientific excellence and strong client relationships, we want to expand and strengthen our strategic communications offering across the pre-launch, launch and post-launch lifecycle.

With a strong heritage in scientific excellence, and enviable relationships with several of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, we regularly offer strategic counsel to our clients.

We want to expand and solidify this offering, across the pre-launch and product launch space

This is a hands-on strategic leadership role.

The Strategic Communications Director will shape commercial communications strategy with clients and then work closely with our scientific, creative and client-facing teams to translate that strategy into practical plans, compelling deliverables and successfully executed programmes.

The role is accountable not only for the quality of the strategic recommendation, but also for ensuring that it remains clear, actionable and visible throughout tactical development and delivery.

They will be able to confidently partner with Market Access, Medical, and Marketing client teams to identify opportunities, create compelling campaigns, and lead the delivery of integrated programmes.

This role is a great opportunity to provide strategic input across end-to-end campaigns, with the ability to contribute, shape and lead the future direction of a growing agency

  • Partner with clients and internal account leadership to understand commercial objectives, audience needs, market dynamics and communications challenges.

  • Provide hands‑on strategic input into core deliverables, including reviewing concepts, content, messaging, journeys and channel plans.
  • Help teams resolve strategic questions and make informed trade‑offs during programme delivery.
  • Participate in key internal reviews and client presentations, providing continuity from initial strategy through execution.
  • Support programme teams in defining meaningful success measures and applying learning to optimise future activity.
  • Ensure that integrated programmes connect strategic thinking with practical delivery rather than treating strategy as a standalone workstream.
  • Business development and agency growth
  • Lead or contribute to the strategic direction of proposals, pitches and organic growth opportunities.
  • Ensure proposals have a coherent strategic narrative that connects client challenges, audience insight, creative thinking and recommended activities.

  • Contribute to the evolution and positioning of the Group’s strategic communications offering.
  • Team capability
  • Coach internal teams through live assignments, helping them apply strategic thinking to everyday client and delivery decisions.
  • Create practical tools, templates and training that build strategic fluency across disciplines.
  • Encourage effective collaboration between strategy, scientific, creative, digital and client-facing colleagues.
  • Stay abreast of developments in pharmaceutical commercial strategy, strategic communications, customer experience, behavioural science and omnichannel engagement.
  • Share relevant thinking and good practice across the Group.
